Preparing for your visit: What you need to know
We believe a well-prepared patient is a confident patient. Our team communicates every step of the process, ensuring your questions, concerns, and goals are discussed for a smooth and comfortable experience.
Your journey with us, step by step
At Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery of Central New Jersey, we believe a well-informed patient is a more comfortable patient. Here is what you can expect from the moment you schedule your consultation to the day you walk out after your procedure.
Your consultation
During your initial visit, one of our board-certified surgeons will review your dental and medical history, conduct a thorough examination, and use 3D Imaging technology to evaluate your anatomy and develop a precise treatment plan. This is your opportunity to ask questions, understand your options, and discuss any concerns about sedation, recovery, or anything else on your mind. We take the time to make sure you leave feeling clear and confident, not rushed.
Day of your procedure
Our team will review your pre-operative instructions with you and ensure you are comfortable before we begin. We offer in-house IV Sedation and Anesthesia administered by our own surgical team, so you can feel relaxed and at ease throughout your procedure. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities at every stage.
Recovery
After your procedure, we will walk you through detailed post-operative care instructions and make sure you know exactly what to expect during healing. Our team is available to answer questions and address any concerns that arise, because our commitment to you does not end when you leave the chair.
Guided post-operative recovery
You’ll receive personalized post-operative instructions to promote a smooth healing process. Our team remains readily available to answer questions and address concerns throughout your recovery. We also coordinate closely with your referring dentist to ensure long-term success and optimal outcomes.

No-Show and cancellation policy
At Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery of Central New Jersey, we’re committed to providing high-quality care in a timely manner. We understand that unexpected situations arise — but a missed or late-cancelled appointment means another patient in need loses the chance to be seen.
To help us serve all of our patients efficiently, we ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellation or rescheduling request. Appointments that are missed, cancelled, or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a fee. We appreciate your understanding and partnership in helping us keep care accessible for everyone.
