Zainabbas Hassam, DMD

Dr. Zainabbas Hassam grew up in central New Jersey and attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick for his undergraduate studies, obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. He continued on to Temple University Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine.
Following graduation, Dr. Hassam completed a general practice residency at JFK Medical Center in Edison, NJ where he realized his passion for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He completed surgical internships at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, NY, and at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, NY.
He then went on to complete his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency program at Geisinger Medical Center, a level 1 trauma center in central Pennsylvania where he served as Chief Resident in his final year.
Dr. Hassam enjoys all clinical aspects of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, particularly implant placement, bone grafting, dentoalveolar surgery, orthognathic surgery, oral pathology, facial trauma, and temporomandibular joint surgery.
Dr. Hassam is on staff at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton, as well as St. Francis Medical Center. He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
In his free time, Dr. Hassam enjoys traveling, playing basketball and tennis, trying out new cuisines and spending time with his wife and two children.
