Known for his diversity in surgical procedures and treatments, Dr. Jonathon Sasportas is a board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who has been in practice with OMS/Central New Jersey since 1997.

Dr. Sasportas is uniquely qualified as a “dual” degreed, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. This qualification is the result of obtaining a Medical Degree (M.D.) in addition to his Dental Degree (D.M.D.). In fact, Dr. Sasportas has been the only “dually” qualified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in the area for the last 6 years. He is a licensed Medical Doctor and Dentist in both New Jersey and New York.

Dr. Sasportas offers a broad range of expertise in traditional Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery procedures. His expertise includes advanced surgery for Dental Implants, Bone Grafting, TMJ, Oral Pathology, Sleep Apnea, and Wisdom Teeth. He also enjoys an expanded scope of practice that includes facial and jaw reconstruction for trauma, pathologic, and congenital deformities. Dr. Sasportas also heads the Cosmetic Facial Center at our OMS facility and performs a variety of facial cosmetic procedures including skin rejuvenation procedures such as Laser Skin Resurfacing, Microdermabrasion, and BOTOX.
